What we charge and what we do not
There is no service fee, no small order fee, no packaging fee and no card surcharge on a first party order. The three lines on your receipt are the food, the delivery charge if you chose delivery, and sales tax. That is the whole list.
If you order the same food through DoorDash, Uber Eats or Caviar you will pay roughly fifteen to twenty two percent more for the food itself, plus whatever that platform charges you in service and delivery fees. Those platforms take a commission from us of between fifteen and thirty percent, and we price the menu there to cover it rather than absorb it silently. We keep the listings because they reach people three miles further out than our own drivers do.
Our packaging is aluminium, paperboard and glass. None of it is compostable plastic pretending to be compostable, and the glass jars are worth returning: bring six back and the seventh sauce is free.
