Tables open sixty days ahead at 10:00 AM Eastern on the first of the month. Everything below is a real charge or a real rule. There are no booking fees.

Four tiers

The deposit is held on your card when you book and comes off your final bill. It is not an extra charge.

  • Dining Room$50 per guest

    • Twenty six seats at Tribeca, thirty two at Georgetown, twenty eight at Nob Hill
    • Le Noir or Le Court, two and a half hours at the table
    • Deposit released as a credit against your bill

  • Bar Noir and LoungeNo deposit

    • Fourteen bar seats plus four lounge tables, à la carte only
    • Half the seats held for walk ins every night
    • Reserve up to seven days ahead

  • Chef's Table$150 per guest

    • Eight seats at the Tribeca kitchen counter, one seating at 6:15 PM
    • Fourteen to sixteen courses, three and a half hours
    • Deposit is non refundable inside seventy two hours

  • Salle Noire, private room$1,000 room deposit

    • Fourteen seats behind a sliding oak door at Tribeca
    • Minimum spend of $6,500 in food and beverage, Friday and Saturday
    • Minimum spend of $4,200 Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday

This form sends a request. A reservationist confirms by email within one business day, and no card is charged until you confirm.

Which tier
One to fourteen. For fifteen or more, use the private events form.
US number, so we can text you if the kitchen runs late.
Tell us everything. The kitchen writes the menu around this, and twenty four hours notice lets us cook properly rather than subtract.

We use what you enter here only to hold and service your reservation, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it and we do not share it with advertisers.

The policies, in full

Written plainly, because a surprise at the end of an expensive dinner is our fault, not yours.

  • Cancellation windowFree to 48 hours

    • Cancel or change more than forty eight hours ahead at no cost
    • Inside forty eight hours we keep the deposit for the seats we cannot resell
    • Chef's table deposits are non refundable inside seventy two hours

  • Late arrival20 minute hold

    • We hold the table twenty minutes past your seating
    • After that the kitchen may serve a shortened menu at the full price
    • Call us and we will do what we can. The number is answered during service

  • Party size changesTell us by phone

    • Reducing a party inside forty eight hours keeps the deposit on the removed seats
    • Adding guests depends on the room and cannot be guaranteed

  • Service charge20% on parties of 6+

    • Added automatically for six or more guests and printed on the check
    • Distributed in full to the service and kitchen teams
    • No service charge for five guests or fewer, tipping is at your discretion

  • Sales taxAdded at checkout

    • New York 8.875%, District of Columbia 10% on prepared food, San Francisco 8.625%
    • Shown as a separate line before you pay

  • ChildrenWelcome from age 10

    • The tasting menu runs two and a half hours, which is a long time for a small child
    • Guests under ten are welcome at the 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM seatings
    • No highchairs at the chef's table

  • DressNo code

    • Most guests wear what they would to a good dinner. That is enough
    • No jacket required and never has been
